Lithonia Middle School 2024-2025 Dress Code Policy
No Rips or Tears in Pants above the knee
No Leggings, Jeggings, Tights, or Short Skirts
No Hats, Scarves, Ski Mask, Hoods, Beanies, Bonnets, Night Caps, Bandanas, or Head Wraps
No Clothing with Drug or Gang Paraphernalia
No Strapless Shirts, Tank Tops, Halter Tops, Mid-Drift Tops, or any other top that does not cover the stomach
No Opened Toe Shoes including Slides, House Shoes, Flip Flops, Bubble Shoes or any other shoe that does not have a strap
Crocs must be worn in Sports Mode (Strap around the heel)
Shorts, Skirts, and Dresses must be knee length
***The DeKalb County School Board voted to implement a cellphone program requiring students to put their phones in a pouch and turn them in to their teacher before class starts. The students can then pick the device back up at the end of the period.
Again, students will be required to power down their cellphone before turning the device in to the faculty.
