Making Life Connections Through Interests
6th~8th Grade
At Lithonia Middle School, students experience integrated activities that invite exploration, academic extension, creativity, and real-world connections, with a wide range of activities designed to enhance their active lifestyles. The connection classes allow students to explore a variety of areas of study that may be of interest to them which include Visual Art, Physical Education/Health, Technology Innovation, Math Tools, Dance, Drama, Band, and Chorus. Students change connections classes each nine weeks, with the exception of band, chorus, and technology innovation, which are year-long classes. It is vital that our students are exposed to a number of areas of interest throughout their middle school years.
