Lithonia Middle School’s Department of Special Education serves students with a variety of disabilities in grades 6th-8th. The department's staff consists of Special Education teachers, teachers in general curriculum, paraprofessionals, Speech and Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, School Psychologists, School Social Workers, Homeless Liaisons, and School Counselors. Lithonia Middle School offers a continuum of services for students with disabilities. We strive to meet the individual needs of our students in a variety of settings through the use of research-based instructional models.
